BACKGROUND

Founded in 2000 by social entrepreneur and four-time Olympic gold medalist Johann Olav Koss, Right To Play is headquartered in Toronto, Canada and has national fundraising offices in Canada, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Regional offices are in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Our programs are facilitated by more than 600 international staff and 14,400 local volunteer Coaches.

JOB SUMMARY

The Project Officer reports directly to the Program Manager (PM) and is responsible for the effective coordination and administration of the project and reporting on the outcome to internal and external contacts as required. The Project Officer is expected to contribute towards the achievement of activities outlined in the Program’s Logical Framework, Workplan, Performance Measurement Framework and Budget.

The filling of this vacancy is dependent on approval of external funding.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (must have)

EDUCATION/TRAINING/CERTIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, social sciences, law, education, or other related discipline

 

EXPERIENCE

3 years’ experience in project administration or community work including managing direct reports.

 

COMPETENCIES / PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

 

LANGUAGES

Fluency in written and spoken English and Thai.

 

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (an asset)
